More than 300 mosquito repellent devices have been deployed in the French town of Hyères after the insects began to affect tourism.

Qista machines mimic human breathing to attract mosquitoes and trap them in a net.

Qista claims the devices reduce mosquito prevalence by around 80%.

Chris Fox from BBC Click traveled to Hyères to see the machines in action and interview the company’s co-founders on their impact on the environment.
