Mural in Madison, Wisconsin, featuring former President Barack Obama and first woman Michelle Obama, has recently been vandalized anonymously.

Work of art, originally painted by Dane Arts Mural Arts, it was presented by both the former President of the United States and the first woman with the words “respect,” “empower,” and “incorporate.”

Because of Barack Obama’s face was covered so far that it could not be saved, the city decided to paint on it so that no one would see the damage. The image of the first woman remains untouched on the right, as towards Hollywood unlocked.

Pete Souza, The White House chief photographer in the Obama era brought this case to the attention of the public Instagram message. It first shows a photographer posing with a mural before vandalism, in stark contrast to another image in which Obama’s face is painted.

“Last year, my daughter took this picture of me standing in front of this beautiful mural that DAMA (Dane Arts Mural Arts) commissioned in Madison as part of a State Street mural project. I am saddened to report that President Obama’s description was vandalized irreparably, and the city had to paint over his portrait (swipe to see what it looks like today), ”Souza wrote.

Photographer, who lives in Madison, also urged to donate to Madison Art Committee lovers in the hope that the mural could be redrawn. For more information, go to posting here.
