Last week we saw a a survey of where SEOs are looking for help when they have an SEO problem. This week, I see a survey by Carolyn Lyden about how most SEOs searched for SEO. It seems that the vast majority of SEOs have learned the practice of SEO, getting their hands dirty and just doing the work.

Here Twitter the query that was used SEL mentoring program – the results showed that 77.4% of SEOs learned SEO “practice”, then 10.7% did-it-yourself courses, 9.8% said that the mentor taught them and only 2.2% said that they participated in SEO . I’m sure there are more ways to learn SEO, but it’s very interesting to see how many people learn SEO by doing it themselves.
