Google seems to be testing the addition of emoticons to local package review filter options. So in “people often mention” keyword filters instead of just saying words like care, food, products, quality, etc., it can add a smiley face to some of those words, expressing greater customer satisfaction in those areas.
This was also noticed by Claire Carlile Twitter and presumably it’s not incredibly new, but according to Tim Capper, it’s about a month old. Here is a screenshot of Claire:
I tried to repeat this myself, but again I don’t see this in tests.
